St. John's Softball

The Spring schedule has been updated to include the re-rescheduled games vs. St. Francis de Sales. We will play St. Francis on Saturday, July 11th, starting at 1:30pm at Lucketts Park. Perhaps the 3rd time will be the charm.

Due to inclement weather, the fields at Lucketts Park have been closed, so we will not have games today, June 20th.

I will update the schedule page when I get information on make-up for these games.

Next games are Tuesday, June 23rd at 8:30pm at Lucketts Park vs. Bethel UMC.

Due to the storms that are rolling through right now, the captain from Short Hill Gang and I agreed that it does not make sense for folks to go out to the field. So even though the cancellation line is still saying game time decision, we're not going to have games tonight.

I'll update the site once we have the make-up date.

You know it's been a rainy season when your make-up games get rained out, but that's the situation we find ourselves in today. The make-up games scheduled for this afternoon at Lucketts Park have been cancelled due to poor field conditions, thanks to the recent rains.

I will post an update when I find out about the make-up for the make-up.

Next game is this Tuesday, June 9th at 6:30pm vs. Short Hill Gang, weather permitting.

Our make-up for this week's rainout against St. Francis de Sales is scheduled for Saturday, June 20th. The games will be at Lucketts Park, and game time is 3:30pm (4:30 for game 2). I've updated the schedule page and downloadable schedule to reflect the change.

Just got word from Parks and Recreation that they have moved our May 30th make-up games to June 6th. Time and location are the same. I have updated the schedule to reflect the change.

Tonight's games have been cancelled due to the rain. I'll post an update when the make-up games have been scheduled.

Our next scheduled games are this Saturday, May 30th at 1:30pm at Lucketts Park (these are make-up games) vs. Leesburg UMC.

Our first two make-up dates have been scheduled.

The first make up games will be played on Saturday, May 30th, at 1:30pm and 2:30pm at Lucketts Park vs. Leesburg UMC. The second set of game was tacked onto the end of the season, and will be played on Tuesday, June 30th, at 6:30pm and 7:30pm at Lucketts Park vs. Bethel UMC.

I've updated the Schedule page with these dates. I've also posted an updated version of the official division schedule in PDF format for download.

Due to recent rains, and poor field conditions, the county has cancelled all outdoor activities for this evening, including our games.

I have not yet received information on make-up games from the week 1 cancellation, so when I get that information (and this week's make-ups) I will post it here and send out via email.

Unfortunately, the weather did not cooperate. Due to the heavy rain yesterday, and field conditions, the field for today's games is closed.
